Embedded solutions also include security threads made from polyester, metalized film, de-metalized film, magnetic and fiber optic materials. Another embedded option integrates an invisible mark into the paper which appears when the label is scanned with a special pen. Finally, the company is offering machine readable taggants that allow equipment such as printers to communicate with a host device to suspend printing until the label taggant is recognized and accepted.
