Why would I want to use a hang tag?
Many manufacturers produce products and materials where labels cannot be easily applied. Hang tags are still one of the most efficient marking systems, especially since they can carry bar coding and jumbo numbering. Hangs tags are versatile in that they can be small or large, hang by string or wire, hang on door knobs or rear view mirrors and can be used just about anywhere.

What stock is normally used?
We have a variety of materials available from coated to uncoated materials, from 28# ledger to 200# basis weights, from paper to synthetic, from thermal transfer to Tyvek® or Kimdura® and more. You can even use special order materials if needed.

What methods of fastening are available?
We can provide you with string ties, wire ties, notch die cutting for doorknobs or rear view mirrors and other special die cutting to fit your clients' needs.

How are hang tags printed?
In the manufacturing process they may be printed offset, flexographic, digital or crash imprinted depending on the application and quantity.

What types of printers can be used?
In the field, hang tags may be printed on dot matrix, laser or thermal printers. Often they are hand completed. As with all of our products, it is very important for us to know the type of printer you will be using so we can use the correct materials in the manufacturing process.
