Why would a hotel want this?
Most hotels reservations are in advance of
the stay so the registration folio can be printed, folded and
sealed in advance reducing the time it takes for check in.
What benefit is there selling this to a casino?
Casino’s have very intelligent
databases so the personalized message can reference previous
stays or welcome back messages.
Also, the pull tab portion can carry a personalized amount based
on the frequency of the guest.
If there is no casino attached what other options should I promote
to my prospect?
The integrated portion could be used as an ID card to charge
drinks and meals on the property. It can also be used to drive
business to the hotel restaurant or bar by offering discounts
or free beverages.
My prospect has HP printers now. Will they work?
If the client has HP 4050 or 4100 models
they can add the Print
to Mail™ unit for around $1500.00.
If they have another model then you can direct them to a Formax
1500 folder/sealer,
which will complete sealing function.
What other options or benefits can I add to the key card?
The key card can be printed to match
the face of the registration folio for high impact to the guest.
You can also use the face
of the card for advertising the hotel casino, restaurants, bars,
pool or other property assets. If the hotel is small and does
not have these options you can actually use the card to gain
new business by offering the face as advertising space to a near
by restaurant. The restaurant will literally pay for the card
in return for the ad space. (Note: Consider “renting” this
space rather than selling it so you can change restaurants and
create a demand therefore higher sales/profit.)
My prospect has pre-registered guests and walk in traffic. Will
this system still work?
Absolutely! Particularly with the Print
to Mail™ unit
as it can literally print/fold/seal on demand.
Are other integrated products available?
Yes! For instance, one section could be an ID card for charging
meals on the property. The other section could be an integrated
label to serve as a windshield ID in the parking lot.
Are there other opportunities in the hotel market?
Certainly! The first of course would by the matching hotel key
card you can sell. That opens the door for other items such as
payroll checks, check out statements, room confirmation mailing
(pressure seal is an ideal solution for this as will), in room
collaterals such as note pads, tent cards and surveys.
What about the folder sealer equipment?
I don’t know anything about that?
If the hotel has an HP 4050 or 4100,
it’s easy. This product
was design to be sealed on the Print to Mail unit that’s
simply attaches to either of these printers. Now the hotel simply
prints, folds and seals in one step. Ward/Kraft can direct you
to the correct company for this equipment. If the client has
other printers we can direct you to stand alone folder/sealer.
By the way, you make $$$ on the equipment as well.
What are the biggest advantages I should mention to my client
regarding this concept?
Personalized welcome messages for a start!
This makes the guest feel truly unique. Second, immediate guest
participation! If
this is a casino the guest can start “gambling” at
the check-in desk.
The forms are available in up to six-color printing so the
hotel can maintain a high image. The matching Key Card adds to
the
image. (Be sure to ask us how to use the key card to get a
new customer outside of the hotel!)
Does Ward/Kraft make other hotel check-in folios?
Indeed we do! On the market, there is a variety of folios you
can construct. For example, multi-part, pocket and laser hotel
check-in folios are all available. All of our technical customer
