Founded
in 1987, Formax is a privately held company based in New Hampshire,
USA. The company was originally established to specialize in the
sales and service of paper processing equipment throughout the
New England area. In 1993, the Formax brand of products was first
introduced and offered through resellers nationwide. The product
line has evolved to include state-of-the art AutoSeal® technology
for one-piece mailers and a full line of office paper folders,
Folder/inserters, checksigners, bursters, letter openers, joggers,
decollators and shredders are also vital components of the Formax
product line.
Today, Formax has become an industry leader
in the design, engineering, sales and support of paper processing
equipment. The company's goal is to continually introduce new
and innovative products while providing an unequaled level of
service and support for authorized Formax dealers worldwide.
In 1998 the company built a new facility
to support growing sales, marketing and engineering departments.
A second phase of construction is scheduled for completion in
September of 2000. This new addition will allow Formax to continue
its aggressive pursuit of product development and support.
