Company Overview
After the urging of several distributors, Jude Ward and Harold Kraft started their own forms manufacturing firm in 1972. Previously, both men were associated with Mid America Business Forms, where they held positions as Vice President and President, respectively. In the late ‘70s the company transferred to Harold and is now owned by his son, Roger Kraft.
Jude and Harold had a commitment to growth through market penetration combined with aggressive new product development. Their mission was to create an energized company with a “YES WE CAN” commitment to customers, dedicated to urgency and thoughtfulness.
Ward-Kraft started with 25 employees, doubled in four years, and has grown to over 300 employees. The company quickly became one of the top five manufacturers in the print industry and now has over 47 years of experience. Numerous patents, in-house R&D, and an in-house machine shop allows for both Ward-Kraft’s continued expansion to new products and the perfecting of their forms & labels, specialty coatings, and plastics divisions.
Nearly half a century of service has proven the Ward-Kraft family will continue to be a leader in the print industry, in part because of a dedication to continued growth. Ward-Kraft will continue to develop systems, training, and tools necessary to fulfill change within their member’s and customer’s needs.
